The weekend starts now

When I am not traveling I want to enjoy the place I live. I like to eat local and see what my own backyard has to offer. You might be on a tight budget, drained from a long work week, or looking to relieve boredom, whatever the case might be sometimes staying local is just what the doctor ordered.

So this is a new series I will be posting every Wednesday afternoon of places to hear live music, gawk at art and people, and have a delish meal or drink(s) on the weekend in the Washington DC area. It might be a bit skimpy at first, but it has only been two weeks since we moved here and I have a lot of exploring to do. :) If you know of something going on that sounds fun, add it in the comments!
